In 1983 Husband and Wife team Paul and Susan Tierney opened a tiny Dolls house and traditional toys shop in Cleckheaton, West Yorkshire, with a definite idea to always offer quality products and to provide a service to customers which is second to none. This idea was to be the start of the events which have resulted in the name 'Tierney's' being synonymous with high quality, handmade traditional toys, gifts and Dolls Houses.

Through the years this family business has grown in strength in terms of stock, staff and experience, and is now based at large premises in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire which we moved to in 1998. 1000’s of pounds had to be spent on renovating the premises, transforming it from a derelict woollen mill to the showrooms that we have today. We believe that we now have a Dolls house and traditional toyshop second to none in this area, and with over 25 years experience we really can help you create the Dolls House of your dreams or find that perfect toy or gift.

In our Dolls House department we stock 1000’s of accessories and houses from suppliers such as Reutter Dolls House miniatures, Dolls House workshop, Dolls House Emporium, Blackwells Dolls House furniture and lights, Richard Stacey Dolls House bricks, Miniature stone coating. Heidi Ott Dolls House dolls and accessories, Aztec Dolls House miniatures, Carl Schmeider Dolls House furniture, Hearth and Home Dolls House fires and ranges, Miniature fireplaces, and more, all of which are constantly being added to. We truly believe that if you are just starting out in the Dolls House hobby or firmly into it, you will need to go nowhere else.

In our traditional toy department you will find everything for children from birth upwards from familiar suppliers such as Pin, Plan, Wow, Orchard, Marbel, John Crane, Le Toy Van, Fiesta, Gund, and Papo, along with many others. We carry an extensive range of teddies, christening gifts and traditional wooden toys, such as garages, castles, prams, toyboxes, farms, rocking horses, sit and rides – all with not a battery or flashing light in sight!
